Who We Are
The Global Leadership Centres Roundtable (GLCR) was founded in 2018 as an international network of university-based leadership centres. The founding members are:
The purpose of the roundtable is to facilitate and support each centre to deliver on their ambitions with respect to leadership research, education and partnering with practice for the benefit of the common good. It aims to foster the exchange of ideas, experiences and results in the area of leadership. This encompasses academic research, education and practice. We do this in the spirit of trust, openness and confidentiality, knowing that ideas and results shared, will not be plagiarized or commercialized by other members.
Our Mission
- To support the member centres’ dissemination of evidence-based leadership knowledge and practices.
- To contribute to the effectiveness and impact of leadership research and education for the common good.
- To foster the organization, research, education, collaboration and partnerships of its member centres.
- To stimulate cross-country and cross-cultural exchange of ideas regarding leadership.
GLCR Members
- Have a multidisciplinary approach to leadership (theoretically and with respect to research designs and methods).
- Conduct academic research and education of the highest international standards.
- Partner with practitioners (i.e. public, private and/or not-for-profit).
We Collaborate
- By exchanging experiences and supporting ideas around developing our centres and centre activities.
- By providing feedback on ongoing research and inspiration for future research.
- By undertaking joint research projects.
- By joint visits from both junior and senior scholars.
